Northside Baptist Church, Eden, NC Ministries

  About our Pastor: Pastor Jim Norman accepted the call to preach the gospel January 8, 1995, and preached his first service January 15, 1995 at Pleasant View Baptist Church of Eden, North Carolina.While at Pleasant View Baptist  Jim Norman became the assistant Pastor, Youth Church leader, Sunday School teacher, and also drove a church bus. He served under the former Pastor Fred Harmon. After this the Lord open up many doors for Pastor Norman to preach at other churches in the area when he was able to fill in. In early September 1996 Pastor Jim Norman was contacted by the Northside Baptist Church to preach as a guest speaker. Pastor Norman filled in at Northside Baptist Church for the next month, and in October 6, 1996 was voted in as pastor. The first Sunday service only had 6 of the 10 members present, but the Lord moved in the service. Northside Baptist Church Eden, NC has seen steady growth over the past 25 years.
